Being an influencer has some great perks but finding new exciting locations can be tough, especially with all the competition on Instagram these days, it seems like everyone is looking for that new hot place. Below are some of my favorite places to shoot! If you have a favorite place to shoot make sure to comment below!
1. Beverly Center
The Beverly Center is a great place to shoot. I love the window back drop, they also have cute chairs near the window to shoot with. The elevator is also a popular place to shoot with a fun confetti/star look.
Address: 8500 Beverly Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90048
2. Pasadena City Hall
Pasadena City Hall is my go to place! My favorite part is it’s open to all photographers so you’ll often see people shooting graduation, wedding, and all other photoshoots! Be sure to check out the gorgeous spiral stairs and fountain in the courtyard.
Address: 100 Garfield Ave, Pasadena, CA 91101
3. Langham Hotel
Langham Hotel is one of my new favorites places to shoot. This is a high end elegant hotel, apparently where Obama stays and other presidents. The place is HUGE so there’s tons of options from the hallways, courtyards (yes there’s multiple), and my favorite is the Japanese garden.
Address: 1401 S Oak Knoll Ave, Pasadena, CA 91106
4. China Town and Temple
China town is one of the cutest places to shoot, and even better if you can catch one of the Chinese festivals! You can walk around the cute shops and feels like you’re China. There’s also a GORGEOUS temple close my called Thien Hau Temple. Since it was a temple I made sure to take my photos fast since it’s a place for worship, I didn’t want to offend anyone but the people here were very welcoming.
Address: N Broadway And W College St Los Angeles, CA 90012
Temple Address: Thien Hau Temple 756 Yale St, Los Angeles, CA 90012
5. In – n – out
In-n-Out is one of my favorite places to shoot around LA, and there’s so many around the city! I love the colors and of course the food looks adorable in photos, perfect for Instagram and online!
6. Temple: BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir
BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Indian temple is incredible! I found this place searching on Google and was so surprised it was in Los Angeles. I went to the place and it was even more amazing than I thought it would be. The only thing is they’re strict with photos, plan on only taking a few photos and shoot quickly. You’re also not allowed to take photos inside, but be sure to check it out because it is breathtaking!
Address: 15100 Fairfield Ranch Rd, Chino Hills, CA 91709
7. Santa Monica Pier
The iconic Santa Monica Pier, perfect for those visiting Los Angeles and you want that perfect LA photo. I love this place because there’s such a huge variety. It’s also a nice place for food and drinks after a day of shooting!
Address: 200 Santa Monica Pier, Santa Monica, CA 90401
8. FD photo Studios
This is the only place on the list that cost money to shoot! It’s fairly cheap, around $35 an hour. I usually get everything done within that time. The nice part is they have props in the room and there’s also no wandering people in the background that can be difficult when you’re on location.
Address: 530 E 8th St #500, Los Angeles, CA 90014
You all are going to laugh and this one! But when I first started shooting and needed a place to shoot cute flatlays or wanted fancier bedding I would go to Macy’s and Bloomingdales with my products. LOL go ahead and make fun for this one but it works, especially for those who are starting out.
